Join Corey’s Love for the 2nd Annual Overdose Awareness Event, an evening dedicated to remembering lives lost, honoring those in recovery, supporting families and communities, and bringing hope to those affected by addiction.

Together, we raise awareness. Together, we bring hope. Together, we change lives.

This year’s theme is “Recovery Through God’s Love” — John 15:12, bringing together faith, recovery resources, music, remembrance, and community in a powerful evening of healing and connection.

The event will feature special speakers John Tanner, Mack Baskin, Dr. Norris Williams, and Whitney Mungo, along with special musical performances by Matt Coppedge, April Branham, Caeden Deese, Morgan Benton, Peyton Deese, and Wendy Furr.

Guests can connect with local recovery, mental health, counseling, advocacy, and community resource organizations during the resource vendor portion of the evening. Food trucks will also be on site, and children can enjoy face painting, tattoos, games, and more.

At 5:30 PM, we will gather for a meaningful Blowing of the Bubbles to Heaven ceremony — a time to remember those we have lost, honor their lives, and hold space for the families and loved ones who continue to carry their memory.

The evening will also include a Reading of the Names Ceremony, creating an opportunity for our community to come together in remembrance and honor.
